I'm sorry, how much is your cell phone bill?!

In my recent news...
I know in a previous post I stated that I do not like talking on the phone (but there were a few exceptions)... Well this past month, those few exceptions caused me to go over my cell phone minutes... by a lot. I'm still on a plan with my parents because of the way the contract falls and such... and well, because they so kindly offer to pay it and keep me on the family talk plan cause it's cheaper... and between the three of us we have (or had, now) 700 minutes and then unlimited nights and weekends and texts. We had built up thousands and thousands and thousands of rollover minutes, but yours truly finally used those up this month. We were charged for 222 minutes. Whoops. I seriously could not understand how I talked that much... and I seriously and certainly did not think I talked that much! Luckily, I did some investigating and changed our plan to 1400 minutes with this cool little feature called "A-list" where you can put 10 phone numbers on this list in any network and talk to them for unlimited amounts. Wonderful... I should also mention that I was able to get AT&T to reduce what we were charged for by more than half because we changed our plan. Yay me! The reason I bring it up though is because I saw this today on the Drudge Report. I think I would faint if I opened a cell phone bill that was that much! And my Dad would undoubtedly kill me.

Oh, and only 11 days until Christmas!!
