When I first read this quote, I immediately thought of the turmoil our country is going through... mostly economically, especially with a possible health care reform, bad job market and the high unemployment rate. Yeah, things are pretty bad, and for some people it's beyond bad. Yet I have faith and hope that things are going to turn around; that man will not merely endure these times, but that he will prevail through them. Could you really hope for anything else?
