The notion that there is someone else out in the world who looks just like you is not something that I think about everyday. Yet I was reminded of it twice in just the past week. First, my sister-in-law sent my Mom an ad for a children's clothing place that had a kid model in it that literally is the spitting image of my nephew. If they wouldn't have indicated that it wasn't him, we would have been like, "You guys got Matthew John in a campaign ad?!?! Whoa, that's really awesome!" It was totally freaky. Same smile, same exact hair, same eyes, same body build... you get the picture. Then a few days ago, my friend Whitney told me that she saw a girl, maybe 15 or 16 that looked so much like me she had to do a double take. She said this girl either was a younger version of me or definitely my sister. Even the way she dressed was like I do. Kinda crazy, right? I asked her if she took a picture of her to show me, and after she and I went back and forth, I concluded that she was right, that probably would have been a little bit creepy. Oh well. I've included that ad and then a pic of my nephew above so you can see for yourself. Sorry, it's a little small so I'm not sure you can see it too well, but you can also just take my word for it. Crazy stuff if you ask me. Do you think there's a twin for you out there?
